Recently I have read much information about men’s ties, which include ties maintenance and also ties choosing. I find that all of them are quite practical and pragmatic for men and their good wives. Here I would like to talk about how to select ties which are best for a man. Shopping is not an easy job and so does ties selecting. What I called best ties should be perfect in four sides, the color, size, design, and material. That’s to say, we have to begin this shopping job from these four aspects.

Color

Out of question, the color means a lot to all accessories, including men’s ties. Now ties have thousands of tones which means we have to spend much labors on this searching process. Surely, you can choose your color according to your personal preference. Yet the most reliable way to confirm your tie’s color is to opt for hues which can go well with all your outfits. In this respect, black, dark blue, silver are all good choices for you. Overall speaking, pure-colored ties are relatively versatile and flexible.

Size

Ties can be grouped into many sizes according to their width and length. In general, long ties are fit for shorter men, while short ties work better for taller men. Similarly, wide ties suit skinny men much better while narrow ties are fit for fleshy men. In a word, size choosing should be completed according to the specific figure of you. Ties that are well fitting for you can flatter your body in a great way.

Design

Ties now have featured many kinds of patterns on their surfaces. There are stripes, dots, crosses or even letters on their faces. You can make your own option and let the tie represent your personality wonderfully.

Material

Now in the market, there are cotton, silk and wool ties. Ties make from cotton are the most common ones as they are comfortable to wear and easy to clean. As to the silk ties, they may cost more and additionally, they are difficult to be maintained. However, silk ties can hardly get wrinkles and they look nobler than others.
